Follow My Book Blog #16
seriously you can’t miss it.
Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kick ass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?
My favorite books have got to, got to have a crush/swoon worthy male lead. I love finding a new book boyfriend to pine over. I know the big debate is love triangles – to love…or not to love…that is the question…Short answer? I do love.
My fav. books that have a strong female heroine must have, and I can’t stress this enough HAVE A MIND OF HER OWN :) Think for herself, have her own opinion, not a cookie cutter, sad then happy then sad then happy personality! Don’t be whiney, don’t let people walk all over you and assume that it’s ok! Don’t let a guy talk down to you and treat you like crap – unless you can teach that jerk a lesson with some serious kick butt moves!
Be your own person, girl…own those pages!
And for the past little while, I’ve been on a Dystopian kick so if that’s the genre, chances are I will be all over THAT…eventually :)

I love the triangle too! I know its overdone, but its just so addicting. What girl wouldn't want two hot guys vying for her attention? I know I wouldn't pass that up!

I agree with you, no whiny lead females! And thinking for themselves is important, I hate it when they're co-dependent (coughcoughBellacough).

Great male leads are such fun! I am also a member of the girl power group. I'm not a huge love triangle fan, but I do like some of them.
