Best friends don’t lie.
Best friends don’t ditch you for a guy.
Best friends don’t post your deepest, darkest secrets online.

Bailey’s falling head-over-high-heels for Ryder West, a mysterious gamer she met online. A guy she’s never met in person. Her best friend, Meg, doesn’t trust smooth-talking Ryder. He’s just a picture-less profile.

When Bailey starts blowing Meg off to spend more virtual quality time with her new crush, Meg decides it’s time to prove Ryder’s a phony.

But one stupid little secret posted online turns into a friendship-destroying feud to answer the question:

Who is Ryder West?

Music is moody. What we choose to listen to at a particular moment in time frequently reflects how we’re feeling.

In TMI, Megan and Bailey are best friends but are very different people with unique interests. When Meg hangs out with Bailey, they’re likely to listen to One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Hot Chelle Rae, Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga. Bailey likes to sing along with Hung Up whenever it comes on in the car.

But when Meg’s alone, she’s more likely to listen to her dad’s old classic rock albums. Zeppelin, The Stones, Pink Floyd – especially Pink Floyd. But his music makes her sad so she doesn’t listen to it often. When she’s working, Meg likes to find a piece of classical music that matches the subject she’s painting. She once painted a thunderstorm scene while listening to O Fortuna / Carmina Burana from the Excalibur soundtrack. She could picture lightning striking whenever the cymbals clashed.

Chase is in a class by himself. He likes head-banging metal, but he also likes country, too. One of his favorites is Kenny Chesney’s She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.

Music can also show the things we try to hide. Even Meg doesn’t know that Bailey adores Bob Carlisle’s Butterfly Kisses. She’d always imagined her dad would sing her a song like that and have tears in his eyes as he walked her down the aisle.

Meg’s secret favorite? She’d die of embarrassment if anybody ever heard her belt out My Heart Will Go On from the movie Titanic in her shower.

And Chase would submit to torture before he’d admit he sings his little brothers the I Love You song from Barney, even though the purple dinosaur never interested them as much it did him.
