To save a kingdom, Zara must choose between a prince who could be the answer and a rising rebellion that threatens to take control.

When Zara Dane is chosen to marry Prince Sebastian Hart, son of the man who ordered her father’s capture, Zara knows she must fight to save everything she loves from ruin.

Being betrothed to the prince means a life trapped behind the towering stone walls of the Camelot-forged realm. Under the watchful eye of the prince’s first knight, Sir Devlan Capra, changing her future becomes difficult.

When an unlikely rebel reveals the truth about the deadly secrets that fuel King Hart’s twisted world, Zara’s path to rescue her father becomes clouded by deception. The Rebels clear her path by forcing Zara’s hand with an ultimatum: sway Prince Sebastian to join the Rebels, convincing him of his father’s evil nature, or they will take him out.

But Zara is uncertain about a future under the Rebels’ command and where the prince’s heart truly lies. She must decide who to trust, what to believe, and what she’s truly fighting for before the king destroys all of Karm, including her heart.

MaryAnn NewI can’t even begin to tell you how much I hearted this book!  A time like Camelot set in a dystopian world?  Totally epic!  This book is another example of why I think author, Trisha Wolfe, is an unbelievably amazing writer!

Zara Dane does what she has to in order to help her father who has the Virus.  If the Force finds out that her father is ill, it’s only a matter of time before they take him away.  While Zara is in town getting medication for her father, it also happens to be the day that Prince Sebastian reveals to everyone in the kingdom which lucky lady he has chosen to become his bride.

Surprisingly enough, Zara is the one who has capture the prince’s heart.  Unfortunately for her, the Force already knows that her father is sick, and is at her door in a matter of minutes to take her father away, and to take her to the castle where she will soon become queen.

Even though all the ladies in the kingdom would give anything to have been the lucky girl chosen by Prince Sebastian, Zara would do anything to get out of this situation she has been put into.  Especially after her father has so adamant that she not choose a life in the castle, and to get out.

But finding someone whom she can trust in the castle is a little more difficult that she thinks.  Prince Sebastian decides to place a personal guard to watch over Zara.  And who better than his first knight, Sir Devlan Capra.  A sexy, mysterious knight to boot.

As Zara and Devlan become closer, Sebastian becomes more suspicious of his bride and first knight.  Secrets are revealed and alliances are questioned in this page turning hit!

I can honest say that from the very first few pages, up to the very end, I was completely enthralled in this story, this world created by amazing author Trisha Wolfe, and the characters that are ones that readers will love and hate.

From scene to scene to scene, everything flowed together perfectly.  The characters were introduced at a perfect pace, and readers were given sufficient information all throughout the book.  Events and content did not feel rushed at all, and the characters in the book all had personalities of their own.  Whether or not readers feel a connection with a specific character, the characters are all ones that readers can become easily addicted too.

I loved that there was always the constant thought of deception buried in the back of my mind while I was reading Fireblood by Trisha Wolfe.  I was always second guessing who to trust and who would be the deceiver which was one of the things that kept me hooked!

And Devlan?  *whistle* He is one character that I easily fell for.  Ack you guys.  You seriously need to read this book, and you will see why falling for him is inevitable.  And Prince Sebastian?  That dude has his moments, that’s for sure.  Good or bad, there’s something about him that is very intriguing!  Do I like him?  Do I loathe him?  Flip…flop…flip…flop… Good times!

Fans of dystopian reads will devour Fireblood by Trisha Wolfe.  If you are looking for a read that will keep you hooked right to the very end, don’t hesitate in getting a copy right away!  This book is to die for.
