“Find Me.”

These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found…dead.

Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target. Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick.

Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?

Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.

But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.

Because it just got personal.

Ten Things You Don’t Know About Romily Bernard

  1. I wrote four novels before FIND ME.
  2. Over the course of four novels, I scored 246 rejection letters from agents and editors.
  3. I once thought about wallpapering my closet with all those rejection letters. Actually, I’m lying I still think about it.
  4. I laugh when little kids cuss. It never gets old.
  5. Whenever I get writer’s block, I self-medicate with frosting straight from the tub.
  6. Since finding out I write thrillers, my coworkers are slightly afraid of me. FIND ME deals with suicide. The sequel, REMEMBER ME, has a serial killer. My workmates think they sense a trend and I never bother reassuring them. It gets me invited to fewer meetings and I like that.
  7. Speaking of work, I once used sushi in retaliation against a boss who liked to grope me. On my last day, I discovered his office door was unlocked so I left a California roll behind the books in his bookcase. When I returned the following week to pick up my last check, the stench was epic and I. Could not. Stop. Laughing.
  8. I am seriously OCD—not the kind that will fold your clothes or organize your closet (that would actually be useful). I’m the kind that counts steps, locks and unlocks doors, and will use one hand to type what I’m saying as I say it. Yeah, I’ll give you a moment with that visual. There’s no keyboard and yet my right hand is typing what I’m saying. Makes people think I’m twitchy.
  9. I probably am twitchy.
  10. I think of myself as a reader first and a writer second. Do not ask me about Rainbow Rowell, Maggie Stiefvater, Jay Asher, John Green, Markus Zusak, or Courtney Summers because I cannot shut up about them. This rule also applies to Matthew Quick, Cecily White, Natalie Richards, Ilsa Bick, and—well, you get the point.

Crazy grateful to Mary Ann for having me today on Chapter by Chapter! Thanks a million! I hope you enjoyed the post and I hope you enjoy FIND ME!!

I graduated from Georgia State University with a Literature degree. Since then, I’ve worked as a riding instructor, cell phone salesgirl, personal assistant, groom, exercise rider, accounting assistant, and, during a very dark time, customer service rep.So don’t let anyone tell you a BA degree will keep you unemployed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this guest post. I had a horrid harassing boss once as well. I wish I’d had the good sense to use sushi against HER. What fun that would have been! Thanks for sharing.
