Cover Re-Reveal: A Little Too Far by Lisa Desrochers – Excerpt and Giveaway

“More than a ridiculously sexy, HOT read, Desrochers takes you on a wild ride of self-discovery and bittersweet romance.” Jennifer L. Armentrout (J. Lynn), New York Times bestselling author of Wait for You.

Have you ever gone just a little too far?

Lexie Banks has.

Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it’s more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he’s been her best friend and confidant for better part of the last few years…and is so off limits. It’s a good thing she’s leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome. But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can’t seem to escape trouble. Raised Catholic, she goes to Confession in hopes of alleviating some of her guilt…and maybe not burning in hell. Instead, she stumbles out of the confessional right into Alessandro Moretti, a young and very easy on the eyes deacon…only eight months away from becoming a priest. As Lexie and Alessandro grow closer, and when Alessandro’s signals start changing despite his vow of celibacy, she doesn’t know what to think. She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and the man she can’t have. And she isn’t sure how she can live with herself either way.

wow, good question. I can’t think of a time I went too far. I guess maybe that I go a bit too far sometimes with my mouth. I tend to talk a lot and sometimes I surprise evn myself with something I’ve said.

Like Kathleen it was in an argument and I just didn’t shut my mouth. I really pushed it too far. Some things can’t go back :(.

Many years ago, when I was going through something quite similar to what the heroine was going through, my then boyfriend and broke up. I discovered that he had done quite a few things with my mortal enemy – a girl who had been after him for years – and I acted like a big fat jerk and flirted with his best friend. Well, I didn’t think his best friend would flirt back. He did…luckily, we didn’t take things too far, but even a kiss is too far with a man’s best friend. I was awful to do that. I still feel guilty. Even if he was a lowlife cheating bastard.

I’m the kind of person who wouldn’t refuse a dare… so there were so many times when I went a little too far. Once I locked a teacher in one trip for like 6 hours and the maid of the hotel took the blame, thinking that she did it without realising
