Hello Readers! Welcome to our Tour Stop for
Temper (Lifer #2) by Beck Nicholas
presented by Month9Books!
We are thrilled to have Beck on the blog today for a quick Q&A, and
be sure to enter the giveaway found at the end of the post!
FREEDOM COMES WITH A PRICE.
Free from the spaceship and reunited with Samuai, Asher should be happy. But thoughts of her dead family weigh heavily on her mind.
Things worsen when temper problems in camp lead to a murder. When Asher volunteers to get the drug need to calm people down, tension ignites.
Loyalties are questioned.
Jealousy rears its head. Sparks fly.
And when rumor of a second ship hits close to home, all bets are off.
Have the aliens returned? Is this the end of everything Asher has ever known?
Thanks so much for taking the time and spending time with us here at Chapter by Chapter!
Thanks so much for having me here today to talk about my new release, TEMPER. I can’t wait for people to read this story.
Describe your book in 140 characters or less (like a Tweet)
In Temper (Lifer Bk#2) former slave, Asher, is free and victorious but around her allies are losing their temper. What has the Company done?
What was your inspiration for writing this book? Was it in a dream? A thought while taking a walk?
I wanted to follow Asher’s story after Lifer, the first book in the series. She’s gained her freedom but at what cost? I wanted to explore just how a person might feel/act when losing control of their temper.
Tell us about the main character(s).
Asher was a slave and fought her way to freedom but while the Company exist she fears they’ll retaliate. She lost people she cared about to get free and is haunted by what she’s done.
Do you have a favorite quote or specific part in the book that you really love?
There is a part where Asher is (quite horribly) tortured. I loved that no matter what was done to her, she kept her spirit and fight alive.
Was there a specific part in the book that you had an especially difficult time writing? If so, why?
The same part was one of the more difficult to write. I love Asher but couldn’t spare her the agony of a session with the Doctor. I felt her pain.
What sort of projects do you have going on right now. Any new books coming out?
I’m working on the third book in the series as well as story of a refugee and a pilot on her spaceship. There is secrets and lies and mad kings as well as mobsters in space and a swoony love story. It’s fun.
It was great having you on the blog today! We hope you’ll decide to stop by again someday, and we wish you much success!!
Thank YOU it’s been great to be here. I appreciate the opportunity to answer such interesting questions.
