But first, a little bit about Blood Of Anteros

“I was tantalized by the mystery of her. The leech inside me came out to find prey, but found none in this enigmatic girl. The close proximity of her essence didn’t entice the monster within, so what did that make her? I had more questions than answers, but one thing was unmistakable; although she released me from her embrace, her hold on me remained.”

Cruel circumstances turned Curry Brennan into the wretched monster he hates and refuses to accept, but when an expected turn of events releases him from the bond of his obsessive maker, he returns to the home he knew 161 years earlier and finds the return of happiness and joy in something he didn’t know existed. Puzzled by his growing attraction to Chansey Leclaire, a human, he is unable to resist the captivating relationship that threatens to reveal his existence as a vampire. He eventually discovers the reason he was destined to find what he didn’t know he searched for and is faced with the cruel realization that the living and the immortal undead will always be separated by one thing. Eternity.

My Writing Cave

I am smiling from ear to ear. Why? Because I am completely stoked about sharing my writing cave with you today. Woo Hoo! (It’s highly possible that wasn’t appropriate author language. Well…no author language police here right now.)

I’ve been writing for about three years but I didn’t have my own private place until a couple of weeks ago. I started out writing in the “hobby room” in front of our family iMac but it was very difficult to be inspired with two young children and a husband constantly buzzing around me. After countless interruption, I took matters into my own hands and started writing late at night to get away from the distractions but that’s wasn’t the greatest solution either. I had daytime obligations and sleeping half the day didn’t work for our family. Imagine that.

I eventually abandoned the desktop and traded my old MacBook for a MacBook Air so my next writing spot became the recliner in the living room. Who can spell disaster? Apparently, me since I just did. Anyway…I jammed my earbuds into my ears (Ouch…forgot about that tragus piercing) and attempted to drown out the screaming and crying, but I could still see them. (I’m one of those people that sees a sparkle and says, “Ooooh, something shiny,” so that didn’t work for long.)

Finally, my husband insisted I deserved my own writing cave and I happily agreed so we recently turned one of the extra bedrooms into a writing cave and that’s where Georgia makes the magic happen. My cave consists of a huge big man chocolate velour recliner, (which I occasionally put in the reclined position and take a siesta) a side table with drawers so all of my things (meaning my much needed coffee) are within reach and a desktop I use for graphic designing and photo manipulation. I’m such a girly girl and I love to be surrounded by pretty things so I couldn’t fudge on the the decor. It’s simple, soothing and inspiring in rich colors I adore.

Aaahhh! Maybe I should call this refuge my Writing Haven instead of a cave. Cave sounds very…caveman like. Regardless, this is my beloved hangout. If you’re ever in my neck of the woods, swing on by and join me in my cave, my refuge, my haven. (Unless I’m writing and in that case, leave me alone.)

 About The Author:

I am a wife, mother of two daughters and a labor and delivery nurse. I have recently added Paranormal Romance Writer to my list of things to keep be busy, but I am ecstatic to release my debut novel, Blood of Anteros, the first book inThe Vampire Agápe Series.

Like others that enjoy a great story of paranormal romance, I am easily bored by the tale of an obtainable, ordinary romance and was inspired to create The Vampire Agápe Series. When I am not tied up with my family or delivering babies, I am working feverishly on the second book in The Vampire Agápe Series.
