With the mystery of Chansey Leclaire and Curry Brennan’s connection solved, they are free to explore their newfound love for one another. Or so they thought…

When Marsala uses a witch and black magic to discover Curry’s whereabouts, he and Chansey are left with no choice. The newly engaged couple is forced to relocate away from their families at the new compound in Savannah, which causes some major changes in the plans for their upcoming wedding.

Relocating to Savannah might have saved Curry and Chansey from being discovered by Marsala, but it doesn’t stop her attempts to reach Curry or her efforts to harm Chansey through the use of black magic. As Marsala closes in, Curry faces the decision he never wanted to make. Will he keep Chansey human or condemn her to eternity as the thing he hates most?

As Curry waits for his hand to be forced, a newly turned vampire arrives at the Savannah compound in need of help. Not only is she a fledgeling in transition, she brings reports of escaping from a vampire cult still in possession of her sister, a human. Any attempt to save the captive human from a cult of vampires puts everyone in jeopardy. Can they risk entering a large cult to save one human being? And is so, how could they possibly do it successfully?

Love will grow. New mysteries will arise. A battle will ensue. A Blood Jewel will be found.

“Okay, I’m going to interrupt the two of you before this gets out of hand because I have a question,” Chansey interrupted “What does the Coven of Landra mean?”

“A Landra is an experienced vampire that takes responsibility for a fledgeling, which is a newly turned vampire. In the beginning, we were ridiculed by others of our kind for what we did. They mockingly called us the Coven of Landra, but we liked the name, so we kept it since it’s what we do. We are now known by all in the world of vampires and those who once mocked us have needed and used our services at some point.”

“Will Curry be my Landra?” Chansey asked so knowingly.

Sebastian looked to me, searching my eyes for a clue on how to answer her. I answered him in a tone too low for Chansey to hear, “It’s better to pacify her with an answer rather than start an argument, so tell her it will be me.” My words fell upon every ear, with the exception of Chansey’s. Each and every one of my family members simultaneously lifted their faces to me for an explanation of my comment.

Before Chansey was able to formulate a suspicion about my family’s actions, Sebastian quickly answered, “Yes, Curry will be your Landra.” This brought a beautiful smile to her face, and I was glad to have dodged another argument concerning her future as one of us.

Solomon took a drink from his goblet and smiled. “Curry can’t wait to be your Landra,” before he shot me his well-known smart ass grin.

My eyes shot daggers in Solomon’s direction, the wooden kind, and he laughed under his breath as I replied in my lowest tone to prevent Chansey from hearing, “Please, do not encourage her.”

Our conversation continued, unknown to Chansey. “Come on, I’m just having a little fun since you seem to be the funny guy tonight.”

Solomon continued to laugh under his breath and Chansey was unaware she was the topic of a near silent conversation playing out right before her. If it came to be, then it just did, but it wouldn’t happen with any help from me.

About The Author:

I am a wife, mother of two daughters and a labor and delivery nurse. I have recently added Paranormal Romance Writer to my list of things to keep be busy, but I am ecstatic to release my debut novel, Blood of Anteros, the first book inThe Vampire Agápe Series.

Like others that enjoy a great story of paranormal romance, I am easily bored by the tale of an obtainable, ordinary romance and was inspired to create The Vampire Agápe Series. When I am not tied up with my family or delivering babies, I am working feverishly on the second book in The Vampire Agápe Series.

Ooohh, I love the cover! I loved the cover on the first in the series too. I have that one and haven’t had a chance to read it yet, but I’m looking forward to it. I especially like knowing I can run out and get the next book in a series before I start reading (though hopefully I’ll WIN it and won’t have to go snag it from Amazon ;)). I’m especially looking forward to seeing how the author captures the essence of Savannah, as I used to live there. I’m surprised more PNRs aren’t set there, it’s pretty much the perfect location for all things paranormal! Thanks again, ladies.
